Sheila Deeth grew up in the UK and has a Bachelors and Masters in mathematics from Cambridge University, England. She moved to the States with her husband and three sons twelve years ago and recently became a US citizen.

Sheila recently self-published her Christmas and Easter drabbles, available from www.lulu.com/sdeeth. She has also had stories in nightsandweekends.com, theshinejournal.com and joyfulonline.net, none of which would have happened without the help and encouragement of her Gather friends, so thank you all.

Hi Sheila
Summer? Incessant rain. But you know northern England! Actually, I think the climate here has changed for the worse over the last ten years or so. We seem to have a lovely spell at the end of May, early June, but then it's monsoon season. I imagine it's still bbq weather in Oregon.
Still, everything is vivid green and the football season's started, and there's honey still for tea.
